Our facilities are some of the best in the region as they are designed to support all aspects of your needs.  St Luke's has recently undertaken a major building project to add a new floor onto the Hospital. Along with 20 new bedrooms, this floor provides a range of social and activity rooms which feature some of the latest technology for patient comfort and safety.

 

We are unique in Oxfordshire for having our own physiotherapy department on site. Some patients receive physiotherapy every day as part of their rehabilitation programme. For others, access to our range of exercise classes or a one-to-one session in our physio studio may be prescribed to help build up mobility and independence.

Bedrooms with an array of comforts

 

Each bedroom is furnished to a very high standard with an electric profile bed, armchair and wardrobe provided. If you would like to bring your own furniture to St Luke’s, that can be arranged to help you to feel most comfortable. Most bedrooms also have ensuite facilities which feature a walk-in shower. For days when you would like a soak in the bath, we have a spa bathroom available.

 

We have also invested in some of the latest technology for your safety and comfort including: 

 

• Flatscreen TV in each bedroom

• WIFI access

• Call bell system

• Smart tablets for video calls to friends and family

A range of first class facilities

 

The coffee shop on the ground floor provides an informal space for you to meet up with friends or family.  Likewise, we have a number of sitting rooms that include a garden room on the second floor with stunning views of our garden.  

 

There is a hairdressing salon, library and activities room, with dining rooms located on each floor of the building.  With our in-house professional kitchen lead by our Head Chef and our coffee shop, the hospitality at St Luke's Hospital is often one of the aspects people comment on when they come and stay with us or visit a family member. We are fortunate to have one of the most beautiful private gardens in Headington.  With level paths and a range of sitting areas, it’s a relaxing haven to enjoy watching birds and other wildlife that like to visit the garden.  From 2021 a new garden room will be installed for visits as a little private sanctuary to enjoy the peace and quiet.
