St Luke's Hospital Oxford has been lead over the years by some incredible women. Indeed, our founder Mary McMaster was a visionary in her time to come up with the concept of St Luke's back in the 1950s.
We are now reflecting back on the life of another amazing lady, Lady Sylvia McLintock who chaired our trustee board from 2000–2006. Lady Sylvia died in August this year.
Lady Sylvia was active in working for a number of charities and she was appointed as High Sheriff of Oxfordshire for 2001. She loved Oxfordshire, living not too far from the city in the beautiful town of Burford. She had a very active life in the community, Sylvia was active in working for a number of charities and was appointed as High Sheriff of Oxfordshire for 2001.
We are very grateful for the dedication, enthusiasm and time she gave to St Luke's Hospital.
